Hey there World. I need some venting space. I've got about 5 billion different feelings inside of me right now...
We've been considering moving in January, into a nice apartment. The problem is finding a nice apartment, that is both affordable and close enough to campus. And I'm going to be completely honest, I really am just not loving Provo. I feel so cut off sometimes, not having any girlfriends to hang out with. That is mostly my own fault, it's been hard for me to make friends in our new ward. I haven't found anyone that I really click with. And I have yet to meet my Visiting Teachers. We've been in this ward for 6 months now, and I have never once met with them. I don't even know their names. Spencer's siblings are fun to hang out with, and I love it when Molly and Quintin come to town, but I just want real girlfriends again, that aren't obligated to spend time with me. I've relied on Molly and Aschylus for so long, I think I forgot how to make friends on my own.
That's enough pity party for now though. Work is going pretty well so far, I'm lucky to have a good paying job. Spencer is stressing out about the MAcc but he's so smart, they'd be crazy to not accept him. He's getting a lot of homework though, and I'm impressed at how good he is about getting it all done on time, making plenty of time for me, and being able to squeeze in his love of video games. He's my Superman (or Batman....) and I am so so lucky to have him right now. He keeps me tethered to real life, and is able to *gently* pull me out of my occasional self-inflicted drama :) He's doing such a good job though, I hate that he's so hard on himself. I'm glad that I get to spend my whole entire life (and then some) with him though, he's awesome in 1 billion different ways.
So there you go, you've had both the downer and the in love versions of Bailey. That's me, all sorts of crazy. Until next time....

Dashing Through the Snow...
...Not yet thankfully! We've had a surprisingly dry fall so far, knock on wood. No snow in sight, and Thanksgiving is just around the corner. With any luck, Spence and I will make our escape from Utah before bad weather hits. We're off to California for the holiday, and I cannot wait for my mom's infamous Cheese Ball. And the Green Bean Casserole, and the mashed potatoes..... I'm drooling all over the keyboard here. Also, this will be the first time in a long time that all my sibling are together, and the first time Spencer will be spending time with all of them for a longer period of time. Yikes! He's tough though, I'm sure he can handle it. He knew it was coming sometime, I'm sure. So, the countdown continues! 10 days until I am with my crazy family once more. I cannot wait!
Thanksgiving means Christmas is coming near, and Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday ever. The snow, the lights, scarves and mittens, hot chocolate, wrapping paper and tree ornaments :) But I'm trying to not get too excited about that just yet. Don't want it to take away from celebrating pilgrims and turkeys and mom's famous cheese ball :) Talk to you all later!

Eiffel Towers and Roulade
Hello friends! I have some time available this evening and thought I'd update you all on the party planning. It is currently consuming my life. I love it though, this is my favorite kind of stress :) Party planning, creativity, baking... all things I live for!! It has me thinking about maybe planning an anniversary party for our first, its in may!! My my, how time flies.
*** Update! The party went really well, for those that came, thank you!! For those that couldnt make it, we missed you, but I think molly had fun, so dont feel too guilty ;) No really though, it was pretty fun. The menu consisted of homemade strawberry lemonade (sooooo yummy), cucumber sandwiches (good idea aschylus!!), chocolate covered strawberries and a delicious lemon coconut roulade I found on foodnetwork.com. I used decoration banners I found on marthastewart.com, and pink, white and black streamers and balloons. I had made an eiffel tower out of cardboard, but scrapped it last minute in a fit a stress and OCD. Call me crazy. All in all though, I think Molly had a good time, and it was so good to see her and Quintin. I miss them like crazy. Aschylus, we miss you like crazy too. ***
Moving on, I have some really good news!! I'm writing a few drafts that I'll post later on, so for now you'll just have to wait and see. Check back for an update in a few weeks, once we've nailed down a few more details. In the mean time though, I hope you all have a terrific week!
