This weekend was so much fun! Spencer and I went to Vegas, to visit his family. I was nervous, of course... Wanting them to like me, worried about making a good impression etc. But I think it went pretty well. We went down Friday afternoon, the drive wasn't all that bad. It was really beautiful around St. George, and into Arizona. After we got in Friday, we hung out with his brothers, playing video games. It was fun :) Saturday, Spencer and I went to the Outlet mall with his parents and walked around a bit, got some lunch, and went shopping. Spencer's youngest brother Ben had a school Halloween party to go to, and we went with. He was so cute, dressed up like a ninja. Later that night two other brothers, Jake and Cole, had a football game. I don't know enough about football to give a detailed description, but it was fun to watch them play. Everyone went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner, which by the way is so much better than wingers, and then went home. Spence and I made our escape soon after, to go hang out on the strip for a while. He took me to Serendipity's, a little outdoor cafe place by Caesar's, and we got some frozen hot chocolate. There were a bunch of people all over the place, dressed up like Zombies, but I'm not sure why.... one of them growled at Spencer.Creepy girl. I wanted to hit her :) We walked around the Bellagio, looking at their Seasonal Menagerie, and then watched a couple water shows before going home. It was a great date, Spencer really is so much fun to spend time with. Anything we do together ends up being super fun. All in all it was a terrific weekend, I think it all went pretty well.
I've still got a lot to do today, and still have to take a loong nap. I'm exhausted from work this morning. But it felt good, to get up and be productive. Have a good week everyone!
It sounds like you had a wonderful weekend.... It is fun to go to the strip and walk around. All the lights are beautiful. Sounds like you had a nice time with the family too and that is important. We love and miss you....
